Natural Scene

The white areas represent scanned geometry captured from the real-world environment.

I procedurally modeled the asset in Maya, then imported it into ZBrush to optimize the model, reduce its polygon count, and clean up the geometry.

To enrich the details, I created different types of moss and used multiple shaders to develop the rock details along the edges and in the reflective areas. On the left-hand side, some of the moss has lower roughness, so when the light hits it, it gives the moss a moist appearance and reveals more complex textures.

** The white area was filled with matte painting **

Final View

This scene was utilized in more than 30 shots, and I completed the entire asset during the pandemic. I greatly appreciate my Art Lead and Supervisor for their valuable feedback and for trusting me to take the asset through the final polishing process.
